Welcome, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, (#65208) specializing in grief, trauma, stress and life changes with a private practice in Walnut Creek, and Brentwood, Ca. I serve as a private practitioner offering support for you and your family.
My specialties include grief (children and adults), loss, trauma, and life changes- those things that happen that throw you totally off center. I can help you through life changes that can happen in an instant. I am a relational therapist; I practice from a place of being connected with my clients, especially children and teens, using different approaches to see which ones “fit” best. I believe it is all about the “fit” between the client and the therapist.
At a basic level, I believe most of life’s curveballs come from grief, which is one reason I became a trained grief counselor. I work from a strength based perspective, believing all people have inner strength and resiliency to work through life. Sometimes we all need that extra help-especially when dealing with grief and loss with family, relationships, and life’s curveballs. My clients include children, adolescents and adults. My office includes a playroom for work with children.
My goal is to work collaboratively with you to help understand the process of your healing, whether it is from grief, everyday stressors, anxiety, depression, attachment injuries, traumatic experiences or life changes. I am happy to help you through life changes, grief, trauma, and that sticking point we all need a bit of extra help with.
